Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Med Surg Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality care to adult and post-operative patients in an acute care setting. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including those requiring medical management, wound care, and recovery support.
Pay Rates
- Full-Time: $40 - $45/hour
- Per-Diem: $45 - $50/hour
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Provide care for post-operative and medically complex patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and accountability in clinical practice
- Delegate tasks appropriately to LPNs and support staff
- Promote patient safety and quality care initiatives
- Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Adapt to varying patient needs and unit assignments as required
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact license preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 1-2 years of Med Surg or acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
