Join us at UPMC Presbyterian as we provide Life Changing Medicine to our community! UPMC Presbyterian, a Magnet designated hospital, is currently hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to support GI Surgery/Oncology, 10N.

About the Unit:

10 North is a 25-bed all private room Surgical Oncology unit that focuses on Gastrointestinal and Liver Surgery. The patient population consists of colon, gastric, pancreatic cancer and gastrointestinal disorders that require surgery. The liver population on the unit consists of liver resections, chemotherapy and management of common bile duct injuries. When needed we work closely with Palliative Care and Hospice to provide our patients and families with comprehensive end-of-life care.

10 North provides state-of-the-art oncology care which offers an opportunity to develop professional experience in all areas of surgical care. Our Registered Nurses work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.

The minimum rate of pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse with 4 years' experience is $49.40.00. We also offer a pay differential to candidates that complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and become a BSN prepared nurse.

Responsibilities:
