Regional Director of Risk Management

Eminent Care Group is seeking a Regional Director of Risk Management to oversee regulatory compliance, survey preparedness, and risk mitigation across multiple facilities in the Pittsburgh region.

This role is ideal for someone with prior Department of Health (DOH) survey experience or a strong regulatory background within skilled nursing. The position will focus on identifying risk, improving survey outcomes, and supporting facility leadership in maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee risk management and compliance across multiple facilities

• Prepare buildings for state surveys and manage post-survey plans of correction

• Conduct mock surveys and identify areas of regulatory risk

• Partner with Administrators and Directors of Nursing on compliance strategies

• Review incidents, grievances, and risk-related trends across facilities

• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations

• Provide training and guidance to facility leadership teams

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a DOH/state surveyor strongly preferred

• Alternatively, strong regulatory/compliance background in Skilled Nursing Facilities

• Deep understanding of state and federal survey processes

• Experience conducting audits, mock surveys, and compliance reviews

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to travel between facilities within the region
