Position: Tech II – Medical Device Technician (2nd Shift)

Tech II

We are seeking a Tech II to perform evaluation, functional testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of new and used medical devices while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues, and a commitment to working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour plus a 15% shift differential Direct Hire Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and test medical devices, components, and subassemblies to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Perform complex and non-routine testing procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, isolate, and debug electrical circuits and assemblies.
  • Record, interpret, and analyze test data and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Operate and utilize test equipment including:
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Function generators
    • Power supplies
    • Test fixtures
  • Service and repair medical devices according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain productivity while meeting established turnaround times.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
Qualifications:

Required
  • Associate's degree or 2-year technical degree OR
  • 3–5 years of equivalent technical work experience with troubleshooting skills comparable to a 2-year technical degree.
Preferred
  • Trained and signed off on at least two advanced product lines, including:
    • Advanced Monitors
    • Advanced Belts
    • Advanced Chargers
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
