Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our comprehensive, enterprise-wide Quality Management System. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform sample inspections and measurements of incoming parts.

+ Process non-conforming materials for testing or disposition.

+ Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers.

+ Complete internal audits and associated documentation.

+ Interpret engineering prints and schematics.

+ Support safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD, and ISO.

+ Assist in the Material Review Board process.

+ Maintain information systems.

+ Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; make recommendations.

+ Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies.

Essential Skills

Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems.

+ Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

+ Comfort in a fast-changing, cross-functional team environment.

+ High standards of accuracy, rigor, and timeliness.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ A four-year technical degree (preferred) or a two-year technical degree (required).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
