Quality Technician
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our comprehensive, enterprise-wide Quality Management System. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Perform sample inspections and measurements of incoming parts.
- Process non-conforming materials for testing or disposition.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers.
- Complete internal audits and associated documentation.
- Interpret engineering prints and schematics.
- Support safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD, and ISO.
- Assist in the Material Review Board process.
- Maintain information systems.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; make recommendations.
- Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies.
- Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Comfort in a fast-changing, cross-functional team environment.
- High standards of accuracy, rigor, and timeliness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills & Qualifications
- A four-year technical degree (preferred) or a two-year technical degree (required).
This position is based on-site, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. Employees enjoy catered lunches daily and have access to free parking in the parking lot.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
