Quality & Reliability Manager - Data Centres

We are currently looking for an experienced Quality & Reliability Manager to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This position will play a key role in ensuring all critical electrical, mechanical, and controls systems are delivered to the highest quality standards before handover. Working closely with construction, QA/QC, commissioning, and operations teams, you'll drive reliability, manage project risk, and ensure systems are fully operational before energisation and turnover.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and reliability activities across mission critical MEP systems.
• Work alongside QA/QC and Commissioning teams to ensure systems are delivered in line with design intent.
• Review commissioning plans, test scripts, ITPs, and turnover documentation.
• Monitor Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning activities, including Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
• Manage project issue logs, tracking deficiencies through to close-out.
• Conduct field audits and inspections to verify installation quality and commissioning readiness.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Drive root cause analysis on critical defects and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all documentation is completed to support a successful client handover.
• Promote continuous improvement across quality, reliability, and commissioning processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience within Quality, Reliability, QA/QC, or Commissioning Management on mission critical or data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems including UPS, generators, switch gear, transformers, chillers, CRAHs, AHUs, pumps, and BMS/EPMS.
• Experience overseeing commissioning activities through to final handover.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning documentation, issue management, and turnover processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work within fast-paced construction environments and manage multiple priorities.
