Under the direction of Dr. Malamo Countouris, the Clinical Research Coordinator I will work in the lab based out of the Magee Research Institute. This lab incorporates a multidisciplinary, versatile team to study cardiac disease in pregnancy and postpartum. Specifically, the lab focuses on investigating the cardiovascular sequelae of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and opportunities for cardiovascular risk factor modification and cardiovascular disease prevention in this high-risk population.
The applicant will be able to work a hybrid schedule by allowing two half days to work remotely in Pittsburgh area. The remainder of the full-time position must be work on sites including but not limited to Magee Women's Hospital, Magee Women's Research Institute, Presbyterian Hospital, as well as conducting home visits.
Main Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with conducting clinical research studies including clinical trials
- Recruiting and consenting study participants
- Running study visits and collecting data
- Managing IRB applications and databases
- Working with a dynamic team that partners with women of diverse backgrounds to understand their health and risk for disease.
