What You Will Achieve
- Design, plan, and execute biostatistical components for research and development projects.
- Provide guidance and lead/co-lead moderately complex projects, managing time and resources.
- Apply biostatistics/disciplines to contribute to departmental work.
- Resolve moderately complex problems, develop new options, and operate independently in ambiguous situations.
- Work independently on assignments; seek review on unusual or complex problems.
- Review own work, seek directional review, and mentor colleagues.
- Exercise judgment using knowledge and experience; be a resource to others.
- Collaborate with scientists on design, analysis, and reporting of clinical experiments.
- Ensure study/project statistical activities comply with regulatory requirements and Pfizer standards.
- Participate in statistical methodology research relevant to business needs.
- MS with 2 years relevant experience, or PhD with 0+ years relevant experience.
- Strong statistical knowledge: general linear models, mixed models, non-linear models, experimental design, variance components, Bayesian methods, and quality control.
- Ability to create computational tools for data visualization; experience with multi-dimensional genomic data technologies.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to write technical reports.
- Familiarity with ICH guidance and pharmacopoeia monographs.
- Experience in a regulated scientific environment demonstrating statistical expertise.
- Ability to prepare internal/external reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
- PhD with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience supporting clinical studies in Inflammatory and Immunology.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies in clinical research.
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to develop options in non-standard situations.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini) and understanding responsible AI practices.
- Work Location:
Hybrid; live within commuting distance and work on-site ~2.5 days/week or more as needed. - Relocation assistance may be available.
