What You Will Achieve

• Design, plan, and execute biostatistical components for research and development projects.
• Provide guidance and lead/co-lead moderately complex projects, managing time and resources.
• Apply biostatistics/disciplines to contribute to departmental work.
• Resolve moderately complex problems, develop new options, and operate independently in ambiguous situations.
• Work independently on assignments; seek review on unusual or complex problems.
• Review own work, seek directional review, and mentor colleagues.
• Exercise judgment using knowledge and experience; be a resource to others.
• Collaborate with scientists on design, analysis, and reporting of clinical experiments.
• Ensure study/project statistical activities comply with regulatory requirements and Pfizer standards.
• Participate in statistical methodology research relevant to business needs.

• MS with 2 years relevant experience, or PhD with 0+ years relevant experience.
• Strong statistical knowledge: general linear models, mixed models, non-linear models, experimental design, variance components, Bayesian methods, and quality control.
• Ability to create computational tools for data visualization; experience with multi-dimensional genomic data technologies.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to write technical reports.
• Familiarity with ICH guidance and pharmacopoeia monographs.
• Experience in a regulated scientific environment demonstrating statistical expertise.
• Ability to prepare internal/external reports, presentations, and manuscripts.

• PhD with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience supporting clinical studies in Inflammatory and Immunology.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies in clinical research.
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to develop options in non-standard situations.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini) and understanding responsible AI practices.

• Work Location:
  
  Hybrid; live within commuting distance and work on-site ~2.5 days/week or more as needed.
