This role supports the smooth operation of a retail environment by guiding staff and assisting with store responsibilities. It combines leadership, customer service, and hands‑on tasks throughout each shift. As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:

• Shift Leadership: Guide clerks during assigned shifts and ensure store activities run smoothly
• Customer Support: Assist shoppers, answer questions, and promote a positive store experience
• Sales Processing: Operate the cash register and complete accurate sales transactions
• Stock Management: Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build organized product displays
• Clerk Training: Provide direction and instruction to less experienced staff on store procedures
• Record Reporting: Complete shift reports related to cash handling and inventory management

• Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

• Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Six months of retail sales work.

• You must pass a background investigation.
