This position supports store operations by leading clerks, assisting customers, and helping maintain a clean and organized shopping environment. You will guide daily shift activities, support sales functions, and help ensure a smooth customer experience.

• Shift Leadership: guide clerks and oversee store functions during your shift
• Customer Service: assist shoppers and help them find products
• Sales Processing: ring up purchases using a computerized cash register
• Stock Management: unload shipments, restock shelves, and build product displays
• Store Cleanliness: keep the store neat, organized, and safe for customers
• Staff Training: teach clerks store procedures and policies

• Full‑time employment
• Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly
• No telework option
• Starting salary fixed at the minimum listed for new Commonwealth employees; not negotiable

• Minimum six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (or equivalent retail sales experience)
• Six months of retail sales work
• Must meet PA residency requirement
• Must be able to perform essential job functions

• Must pass a background investigation. Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years are not permitted to work for the PLCB; other criminal convictions will be reviewed case‑by‑case.
