Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Spring City, PA.

This position supports the Store Manager in daily operations, including overseeing sales floor activities, assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining store appearance and merchandising standards. The role involves guiding, scheduling, and coaching retail team members, monitoring performance, and helping ensure that customer service goals and sales targets are met. The Assistant Store Manager helps implement store policies, supports retail loss prevention efforts, and contributes to a positive, efficient, and sports-focused store environment.

This role may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to delivering a positive in-store experience.
• Proficient Communication skills for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and collaborating with management.
• Experience with Store Management, including supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and supporting merchandising and sales activities.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help protect company assets and maintain a secure store environment.
• Previous retail or sporting goods experience a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and reliability.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is beneficial.
• Interest in field hockey or team sports is a plus, with willingness to learn product details to better assist customers.
