Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 – Woodcutter Street, Exton

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at Woodcutter Street in Exton. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of store presentation.

This role supports daily store operations while guiding staff and promoting a positive customer experience. As a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2, you will perform the following duties:

• Store Leadership: Direct store activities to maintain steady operations and high customer satisfaction
• Team Guidance: Lead employees by assigning tasks, reviewing work quality, and offering feedback
• Sales Support: Participate in product stocking, receiving shipments, and helping customers choose items
• Customer Service: Resolve questions and concerns to promote a welcoming shopping environment
• Safety Standards: Keep the store organized and safe for customers and staff
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate product displays

• Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Two years of lead retail sales work.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
