Advisor, Retail, Retail Associate​/ Customer Service

Value Chain (Going Going Gone!) is seeking an on-site Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. In this role, you'll greet shoppers, answer questions, and recommend value-focused products while operating the POS to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately. You'll help stock and merchandise the sales floor, support inventory counts and markdowns, and assist with receiving shipments.

Advisors work closely with teammates to meet sales and operational goals while following all safety, loss-prevention, and cash-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, answering questions and recommending products
• Operate POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
• Maintain well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
• Support inventory counts, tagging, pricing, and markdowns
• Monitor fitting rooms and sales floor for loss prevention and safety
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments with accuracy
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and staging product from shipments
• Communicate promotions, policies, and store information to customers
• Collaborate with team to meet daily sales and operational goals
• Follow company procedures for cleanliness, safety, and closing tasks
