Team Captain Endzone & Loyalty

As Team Captain Endzone & Loyalty at Value Chain (Going Going Gone!), you lead the front-end team in a fast-paced, value-focused retail environment. You oversee checkout operations, ensuring fast, accurate transactions and strong customer service. You coach associates to promote loyalty programs, manage lines, and maintain a safe, organized entrance and register area. You handle cash control, basic reporting, and communicate issues to store leadership.

In this role, you help move inventory quickly and accurately while creating a positive experience for value-driven shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule front-end associates for efficient coverage during peak times
• Oversee checkout operations, ensuring fast, accurate transactions and cash handling
• Coach team on loyalty program sign-ups and customer engagement
• Resolve customer issues and escalate concerns when needed
• Monitor lines, adjust staffing, and maintain clean, safe front-end areas
• Support merchandising and signage near entrances and checkout
• Track basic front-end metrics and report issues to store leadership
• Ensure adherence to company policies, loss prevention, and safety procedures
