Area Sales Director (DSD and Independent Distributors) at Flowers Foods is responsible for supporting DSD (direct store delivery) and Independent Distributor activities, building and maintaining customer relationships, selling, and pursuing new market opportunities.
Position Responsibilities- Support DSD and Independent Distributor sales and customer relationships.
- Grow customer base and identify new selling opportunities.
- Track sales data and report market performance.
- Maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution.
- Use digital tools to showcase execution wins and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities and adjust sales strategies using consumer insights.
- 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales. Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
Job Requirements
- Must acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Valid Driver's License and a safe driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Competitive salary range: $72,000 - $80,000.
