Retail Industry Solutions End User Sales Specialist
The Retail & Industry Solutions End User Sales Specialist leads the sales strategy for named accounts and net new growth within their territory. This role leads the acquisition of new retail accounts with substantial revenue potential to HP. They develop and manage C‑level relationships and drive higher share of wallet within these named accounts. The specialist focuses on HP solutions—Point of Sale, Digital Signage, Mobility, Kiosk, Security, Back Office, and Services—in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, and government markets.
They act as a sales leader, identifying, qualifying, and developing key retail and industry accounts.
The candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of industry technology, understanding of competitors’ products, AI and current trends, and the ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences including C‑level, store operations, business owners, and IT staff. Hunting new business is a passion.
This quota‑results‑driven position requires proven experience in field selling to existing and new acquisition end‑user accounts, expanding partner relationships, and executing territory coverage plans. Candidates must have a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota objectives.
Responsibilities- Leverage deep product knowledge to build client relationships and devise sales strategies for revenue growth.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and collaborate across departments for seamless customer experiences.
- Act on client feedback, support account managers in contract negotiations, and mentor junior team members.
- Build and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment.
- Support account managers in managing client relationships, driving pursuits, and renewing contracts.
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Develop a robust long‑term sales pipeline to enhance market presence.
- Use client feedback to improve product or service quality and strengthen relationships.
- Share expertise and best practices with junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to identify target markets, create pricing strategies, and set goals.
- Four‑year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation & BenefitsOn‑target earnings (OTE) range: $215,000 to $285,000 annually with a 60/40 salary/incentive mix. Additional opportunities include bonus and/or equity for U.S. candidates. Pay varies by location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
