How you'll make an impact
- Identify and develop new opportunities across electric, gas, and water utility markets.
- Execute business development strategies that support growth objectives and market expansion.
- Build strong relationships with utility leaders and key decision-makers.
- Lead opportunities through the full sales cycle, from discovery to contract close.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and legal teams to develop winning solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer priorities, and competitive activity to inform strategy.
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of business development, sales, or account management experience within the utility sector.
- Strong understanding of utility industry trends, customer challenges, and regulatory environments.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing strategic customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and the ability to travel frequently.
