Scientist III - Analytical Chemist Drug Product - FSP

Job Overview

We are looking to fill a Scientist III – Analytical Chemist Drug Product position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on a long‑term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401(k), paid holidays, and paid time off.

• B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Scientist 3 – B.S. with 3–5 years of relevant experience or M.S. with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with GMP chromatographic analysis by U/HPLC and other analytical lab techniques.
• Hands‑on experience in chromatographic analysis and problem solving.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Good communication (oral and written) and attention to detail; speaks up when encountering a problem or has suggestions for improvement.
• Good organization and project management skills to work on multiple ongoing projects in parallel, including routine testing (i.e., assay/impurity testing) and data processing/interpretation.
• Data integrity assessments, investigative report authoring, and/or sample management responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying self‑motivation, efficiency, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

• Empower software.
• Dissolution and moisture testing.
• Analysis of drug products.
• Good understanding of cGMP compliance requirements and ALCOA documentation principle.
