Mobile Unit Armed Security

Tadiso Incorporated seeks an Armed Security professional to protect its mobile opioid treatment unit in Pittsburgh, PA. This role safeguards patients, staff, and medications while the unit travels to community locations. Responsibilities include site and perimeter checks, incident response, de-escalation, and secure escorts. You'll collaborate closely with clinical teams to maintain a trauma-informed, respectful environment. Ideal candidates have armed security or law enforcement experience, strong judgment under pressure, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals in recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security for Tadiso's mobile treatment unit serving opioid recovery patients and staff in the field
• Conduct site and perimeter checks at mobile stops, parking areas, and surrounding environments to identify and mitigate safety risks
• Monitor patient and visitor activity, de-escalate conflicts, and respond to security incidents following clinical and legal protocols
• Escort staff, patients, medications, and cash deposits as needed, ensuring secure handling and transport
• Operate and maintain security equipment, including radios, surveillance tools, and vehicle safety systems
• Prepare clear incident reports and documentation for clinical leadership and, when needed, law enforcement
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed care environment
• Maintain weapons qualification, adhere to use-of-force policies, and comply with all state, federal, and healthcare regulations
