Field Technician​/Rehabilitation Equipment Operator

Abel Recon has an exciting new opportunity for a Field Technician/Rehabilitation Equipment Operator within the wastewater, stormwater and potable water rehabilitation industry. Abel Recon is headquartered in Mountville, Pennsylvania. Our projects are located across the Mid-Atlantic Region. “NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY”, Abel Recon will provide the necessary training for you to be successful as you launch your new career. Field Staff get the exciting opportunity to travel frequently with all expenses paid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on a wide range of projects, including structure rehabilitation, cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP), CCTV inspections, and pipeline cleaning.
• Work with assigned field personnel, as directed to assist in the installation process of our pipe lining and spray lining systems
• Learn and improve in all aspects of Abel Recon rehabilitation field operations, including pipe lining and spray lining processes
• Assemble and tear down by-pass pumping systems
• Trouble shoot and have mechanical abilities to repair small equipment on site
• Follow standard safety procedures
• Work with and operate blower trucks, curing trucks, camera trucks, spray trucks, prep trucks, by-pass pumping systems, forklifts and other miscellaneous equipment, as directed in the field

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid Class C driver license
• Great “can do” attitude
• Great communication skills towards team members, clients, inspectors and residents
• Must be goal oriented, hard-working, reliable and willing to work to achieve individual, team and company goals while learning new skills
• High level of commitment and accountability
• Working knowledge of sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems
• Able to pass and obtain a DOT physical card
