Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Pennsylvania H&A Recruiter

Our client, a growing equipment rental company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their service team in Eastern Pennsylvania
. This full‑time role is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of rental equipment, including aerial lifts, tracked equipment, trucks, and other heavy machinery.

This is a Monday–Friday position (7 AM–5 PM) with opportunities to grow in a supportive, team‑focused environment.

• Diagnose and repair diesel, gas, propane, and hydraulic systems
• Perform maintenance on electrical systems (12/24/48 volt) and heavy trucks/automotive equipment
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to troubleshoot effectively
• Conduct inspections and ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and rental‑ready
• Maintain accurate work orders using basic computer systems
• Communicate with team members, vendors, and manufacturers for technical support
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a team‑oriented work environment

• Hands‑on experience with heavy equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulics
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills with fuel, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid inspection license a plus
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly (and occasionally up to 75 lbs.) and climbing on equipment as needed
