This dynamic role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities, including the execution of preventive maintenance and repairs on various mechanical and electrical systems. The successful candidate will work with power supply and lighting systems, ensuring their optimal functionality, as well as maintaining fire alarm systems and traffic light controls.

In this position, it is essential to possess the personal hand tools typically required of a journeyman electrician. Your responsibilities will include the cleaning and lubrication of ventilation fan motors, bearings, dampers, and drive units, along with performing necessary mechanical repairs, adjustments, and parts replacements. You will be tasked with identifying and diagnosing faults in electrical circuitry and defective components by interpreting technical drawings and schematics, as well as utilizing various testing equipment.
Additionally, you will repair, adjust, or replace any worn or malfunctioning components. Your work will encompass both low-voltage control circuits and industrial-grade high-voltage systems, specifically those operating between 480 volts and 23,000 volts. This includes servicing and cleaning tunnel light fixtures, which involves tasks such as re-lamping, ballast replacement, socket fixture repairs, rewiring, and overall fixture replacement. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the installation of electrical devices, fixtures, cables, and conduits, ensuring compliance with established standards and codes within the electrical trade, as well as servicing and maintaining detection and recording devices.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require rotating shift work due to 24/7 operations.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Five years of journey-level experience in the electrical trade; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
