Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Occasional OT and hour changes)

Are you a "Field General" who prides yourself on precision, safety, and efficiency? FASTSIGNS/Pittsburgh is looking for a Lead Installer to take ownership of our field operations. This isn't just about hanging signs; we are looking for a highly skilled tradesperson who can manage a project site, troubleshoot on the fly, and use modern technology to document world-class results.

If you have a background in Carpentry, Glazing, Electrical, or Commercial Maintenance, your skills are highly transferable here.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Lead the Site: Take full ownership of the install van and 25’ bucket truck. Ensure all tools, hardware, and signs are "pre-flighted" and loaded correctly before leaving the shop to eliminate return trips.
• Expert Installation: Perform high-quality installs of channel letters, dimensional signs, and pylon signs across various substrates (brick, EIFS/stucco, metal studs, etc.).
• Tech-Forward Documentation: Use our digital project management apps and tablets for site surveys, photo documentation, and real-time job updates.
• Safety First: Operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Professional Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and General Contractors on-site, ensuring a professional and clean job site at all times.

Who You Are (Requirements)

• Proven Tradesman: 3+ years in a skilled trade (Sign Installation, Carpentry, Glazing, or similar).
• Equipment Mastery: Comfortable operating bucket trucks and various power tools. You know which anchor to use for every wall type.
• Reliability: You are a "no-excuses" professional. When the Lead isn't here, the truck doesn't move. High attendance is a requirement.
• Tech-Literate: You are comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for documentation and surveys.
• Clean Record: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean record to be insurable on our commercial truck policy.
