Position SummaryMongiovi & Son is seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial Service Plumber to join our growing team. This position focuses on commercial plumbing service, maintenance, and repair work. The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs efficiently, and delivering outstanding customer service.
This role requires the ability to work independently, operate plumbing service equipment, including a trailer-mounted jetter, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform service, repair, and maintenance work on commercial plumbing systems, including drain lines, water lines, fixtures, and related components.
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions.
Operate drain cleaning equipment, jetters, and other specialized plumbing tools.
Safely tow and operate a trailer-mounted jetter.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
Deliver professional, high-quality customer service at all job sites.
Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every nine weeks to provide after-hours emergency service.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
Minimum of 2 years of commercial plumbing experience (service experience preferred).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience or comfort with towing and operating a trailer-mounted jetter.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Journeyman Plumber License or Apprentice Registration.
Knowledge of commercial plumbing codes and regulations.
Experience working on large-scale commercial plumbing systems.
