Sweeper Operator - CDL

Overview

Heidelberg Materials North America seeks a mobile equipment operator to support construction and maintenance activities across our sites.

• Operate sweeper trucks safely and efficiently in assigned work areas.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment readiness.
• Remove debris and maintain clean roadways, yards, and plant surfaces.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety‑first culture.

• Ability to operate mobile equipment confidently and safely.
• Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to safe work practices.
• Capability to perform basic equipment checks and maintenance.
• Reliability, punctuality, and consistent follow‑through on assigned tasks.
• Comfort working independently and adapting to changing priorities.

Successful candidates must submit to a post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Role operates primarily in environments involving moving mechanical equipment and inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.

• $20‑$24 per hour
