Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Pay: $46-$48/hr (based on experience) plus year-end bonus.

• Plan and oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs across all shifts.
• Repair, install, and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans, which involves working at heights, climbing ladders, and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.).
• Plan and lead maintenance teams and external vendors during plant shutdowns and equipment installations.
• Train multi‑craft maintenance technicians, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Lead breakdown response and troubleshooting efforts and prioritize critical repairs to minimize downtime.
• Connect to PLCs and VFDs using laptop software to identify faults, monitor inputs/outputs, and support production troubleshooting.
• Support welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Identify and upgrade electrical components (VFDs, I/O cards, PLCs, etc.) to ensure proper inventory of spare parts is readily available.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IOs, OLs, contractors, relays, break resistors and various other electrical components.
• Manage and oversee outside contractors, vendors, and service providers performing work onsite.
• Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures in WO system.

• 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven experience leading teams in both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley.
• Experience in concrete, foundries, aggregates, mining, or other heavy industrial manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Industrial electrical experience in PLCs and plant automation.
• Ability to support multiple shifts.
• Experienced in heavy industrial mechanical repairs; rigging, welding & fabrication (preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office, CMMS, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
