Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with major components such as brakes, cab, engine, fifth wheel, transmission, and electrical systems;
Perform maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and straight trucks including brakes, tires, suspensions, and ABS/air systems;
Maintain accurate PM and repair records and schedule work to meet PM schedules and inspections;
Oversee repair work performed by outside vendors and conduct running repairs and inspections;
Assist with State and Federal vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with scheduling and maintenance requirements
