Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee

Safelite is hiring an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee to learn professional vehicle glass repair, replacement, and calibration support in the Transportation & Warehousing industry. In this hands-on, field-based role, you'll assist experienced technicians with safely removing and installing windshields and other auto glass, preparing vehicles, and supporting advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) calibrations. You'll deliver friendly, caring customer service at shops and mobile locations while following strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removing, replacing, and repairing auto glass under supervision
• Prepare vehicles and work areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety compliance
• Use tools and materials to install windshields and other vehicle glass components
• Support glass calibration procedures for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)
• Follow work orders, documentation, and quality standards accurately
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on-site and in the field
• Adhere to all safety, vehicle handling, and PPE requirements
• Participate in paid training, coaching, and skills development programs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition
• Work collaboratively with teammates to meet productivity and service goals
