HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps.
• Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and safety checks on heating and cooling systems.
• Install and replace HVAC components such as motors, capacitors, thermostats, and filters.
• Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with EPA and local regulations.
• Drive to customer homes, arrive on time, and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Communicate findings, repair options, and pricing clearly to homeowners.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, working order.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and support teammates as needed.
