- 1–5 years of experience in electric utility Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Protection & Controls or substation field work.
- Experience working in utility substations (preferred over industrial, commercial, or construction-only electrical environments).
- Basic knowledge of protective relays, substation commissioning, SCADA, control circuits, and DC systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with Doble Protection Suite, Enoserv RTS, or similar relay testing software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel throughout the First Energy service area.
Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
