Parenting Support Professional Washington County Pay Rate: up to $23.00/Hour
Work Schedule:
Full-Time, 37.5 Hour Work Week
Location:
On-Site
Up to $2000 Sign-On Bonus
Position Summary
The Parenting Support Professional (PSP) provides support for parents with intellectual and developmental disabilities or suspected intellectual disabilities. Together with the person and their family, assist in charting a course that supports them to parent their child/children as well as realizing their goals to achieve life that is important to them.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centered goals and outcomes, appointments, relationship building, legal/court hearing and meetings, educational meetings and behavior support sessions for themselves or their children.
Qualifications
- The equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services/Social Science and one year of experience in a related field.
- Effective communication, organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills required.
- Satisfactory Act 33 and 34 clearances, and FBI clearance as required.
- Valid license to drive in the State of Pennsylvania and a properly insured vehicle.
