The Learning Associate on our Learning & Development team is a regular, full-time position that offers a weekly, hybrid work schedule. At times, this position requires independent travel within the region to transport materials and attend events.

In this role, the Learning Associate will focus specifically on physician learning & development. They will support L&D initiatives by creating and preparing materials, coordinating programs, and maintaining and analyzing data within the learning management system. Additionally, they'll help support learning experiences and logistics during learning sessions while communicating with many participants and speakers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administrative functions for all L&D programs including, but not limited to: scheduling rooms/facilities/speakers; coordinating, supporting and facilitating virtual learning; ordering catering; sending reminders to participants and speakers; set up of training/conference rooms; inventorying and ordering supplies, printed materials, giveaways, etc.
  • Review, suggest and/or complete modifications or updates to training communication and materials.
  • Assist in the facilitation of programs when necessary
  • Participate in various L&D programs by troubleshooting issues, greeting participants and providing customer service.
  • Monitor and respond to customer requests in service email accounts.
  • Support special projects as identified and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in the planning, logistics, and administration of support tasks for all L&D programs. Document team processes, standards, procedures and policies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of administrative or relevant experience required
    • OR Completion of the UPMC Summer Associates' program required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in education and/or human resources is preferred.
  • Must be highly organized, creative, and timely.
