As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in either Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Strongsville, OH, Phoenix, AZ or Birmingham, AL.

* 10+ of experience in software development with strong focus on Java / J2EE technologies.

* Proven experience in programming microservices-based applications.

* Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, REST APIs.

* Hands-on experience writing queries with Oracle and MSSQL Databases.

* Good understanding of containerization technologies like OCP, Docker, Kubernetes

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and automated testing tools.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical teams.

* Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.

Preferred

Skills:

* Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP or Java technologies.

* Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging systems like Kafka or Rabbit

MQ.

* Exposure to SAFE Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
