Java Back-End Developers

W2 Position Only

Note:

1 Senior Level back end
1 Senior Level back-end - data heavy focus - lots of Cloud Data flowing so any Snowflake or other Cloud Database would necessary

Manager Requirements:

Will be a lot of microservices in Spring Boot based libraries, Core Java, API and Back-end - no UI work in this role
Focus on Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Oracle, and PL/SQL stack
One of the positions needs some Snowflake or relatable experience.

Looking for 2 Engineers with 5-6 years of experience, hands-on, financial industry background is a plus.
Needs strong experience in Java, J2EE, and Spring, Spring Boot
Strong background in microservices development is required
Needs to come from a complex data environment and handling large volumes of data and sharing data over the cloud. Snowflake would be a big plus.
Needs to have experience in PL/SQL as well and building stored procedures to handle the SQL data models from the data source directly.
Experience in Kafka or another distributed messaging environment would be a big plus here (they are using both Kafka and IBM MQ).
Similar to the above, they need to have experience in containerization, Docker/Kubernetes, but not setting up environments.
Need strong experience in testing and knowledge of CI/CD best practices to deploy their code.

Overview:

This group is over Information Architecture and responsible for data-oriented architecture with a web application on top.

Looking for 3 Full Stack Developers (Lead level, 7-10 years of experience)

2 Back-End Engineers (5-6 years of experience)

JD:

Looking for hands-on Leads who can mentor junior level Engineers, but will not be responsible for management. It is a hands-on role.
Needs experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot microservices.
Data access and PL/SQL skills are required, most of the data is housed in Oracle database.
UI is Angular 16
, no particular libraries or state management required.
Role is roughly 70% back-end, 30% front-end.
Should have experience in large-scale data environments.
Has a separate platform team setting up container/Kubernetes infrastructure, but should have experience in containerization and containerized deployments
Same with CI/CD
, has pipelines set up, using Jenkins and Git, will deploy their own code but another team handles the pipeline development and maintenance.
Will be responsible for testing--phase 1 unit testing and then employing BDD, Cucumber for regression and functional testing. Should have a strong testing background and ability to test their own code.
Application is hosted on Azure, should have experience in cloud hosted applications but no particular services required.
