About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our technology team on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications that support critical business operations. You will work closely with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and Dev Ops teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and production support.
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to define application architecture and integration strategies.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services across distributed systems.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and integrate with relational and No

• Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and performance issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 11, 17, or 21.
• Deep expertise in the Spring ecosystem:
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring MVC
  • Spring Data
  • Spring Security
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Git-based source control systems.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
