Supervisors are responsible to uphold the standards set forth by Ellis & Associates, Inc. and Camelback Resort. Supervisors will assist in the daily operations of both Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark and Camel beach Mountain Waterpark by taking a hands-on, team player approach and will be responsible for assisting the Aquatic Managers with assigned duties.

• Oversee safety while in the waterpark. This includes effective supervision, training, and demonstrations of a “think safe” attitude.
• Assist in overseeing guest safety by being available and visible on the pool deck, performing VAT training in accordance with Ellis & Associates, and consistent supervision of lifeguard staff.
• Provide feedback to lifeguard staff based on performance, coaching, and proper scanning techniques.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of waterpark.
• Participate in the Waterpark Manager on Duty program daily ensuring rotation completion, fostering positive staff morale, and meeting safety and guest service standards.
• Attending staff meetings, morning meetings and other meetings as requested.
• Be able to communicate with staff members and guests in all situations including but not limited to:
  Disciplinary action, coaching, policy/rule enforcement, and wristband standards.
• Perform basic first aid on a regular basis with a confident attitude.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Perform all other duties as requested.

• Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a large staff.
• Able to assist management in meeting department goals.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow incident reporting methods.
• Maintain a level of good physical condition.
• Able to perform the basic duties of a lifeguard.
• Able to manage an emergency if the need arises.
• Ellis & Associates instructor license required or must be able to obtain one.
• Passion for Aquatic Safety and Risk Management.
• This may include weekends and early morning, or late evening work and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
• Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
