Job Summary

The Seasonal Field Maintenance position will assist with game day field preparation and field events.

Responsibilities

Assist with Batting Practice setup and tear down, putting down protective mats, putting out all screens needed and assisting with large batting practice cage.

Game Preparation including chalking, dragging, painting home plate, mound, assisting with watering of infield, cleaning bases and adding conditioner when needed.

Cleaning and maintenance of workshop, equipment, on-deck circles, and field.

Cleaning wall pads, dugouts, bullpens and other areas used by players or visible on broadcasts.

Dragging infield, warning track and changing bases during game.

Assisting with rain situations including pulling tarps; mound, home plate and large field tarp. Lifting conditioner bags and squeegee water.

Assist with post-game clean up and repair of clay areas.

Assisting with set-up and tear down of concerts and field events.

Assist with stanchion removal and promotional item return.

All other set-up and tear down needs of events in the ballpark.

All other duties assigned by Director or Supervisors.

Qualifications

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License

Complete a forklift training course

Desired

Field and turf background

Cleaning and maintenance knowledge

Computer skills

Forklift operation experience
