- Oversee the assigned team and warehouse area to ensure smooth operations
- Support operational processes to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure orders are completed correctly and on time
- Coordinate daily workload and direct employees on task priorities
- Train and coach team members on proper procedures and best practices
- Utilize the warehouse management system and maintain accurate work documents
- Model and promote a high standard of customer service on the floor
- Follow and reinforce company policies and safety procedures
- Safely operate various equipment and tools alongside the team
- Support warehouse management as needed
- Monitor orders and help identify and resolve problems
- Catalog and track goods and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment under the 5S program
- Work safely to protect team members
- 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Background in safety, OSHA or EHS training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
- May be required to take and pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
- Must comply with GXO COVID safety policies and CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
Demonstrates expertise in warehouse operations, including inventory management, team coordination, and adherence to safety protocols. Proficient in utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and maintaining high standards of customer service.
