Lead Material Handler

Snavely Forest Products Inc is seeking a Lead Material Handler to coordinate daily warehouse operations in our wholesale lumber and building materials facility. This role oversees loading and unloading trucks, verifying orders, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. You will lead and train material handlers, promote safe equipment operation, and uphold housekeeping and safety standards. Collaborating closely with warehouse supervision and drivers, you'll help maintain productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction in a family-oriented, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily material handling and warehouse activities
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Verify orders, quantities, and product accuracy against documentation
• Organize, stage, and store lumber and building materials to maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment in compliance with safety standards
• Train and mentor material handlers on procedures and safe work practices
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse conditions and enforce safety policies
• Communicate with supervisors and drivers to support on-time, accurate deliveries
