This is a full-time, on-site Reach Truck Operator role based in the Greater Philadelphia area. The Reach Truck Operator will be responsible for safely operating reach trucks and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, and organize pallets of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products. Daily tasks include loading and unloading trucks, transporting products to designated storage locations, and replenishing pick locations according to inventory and production needs.
The role also involves performing accurate order picking, scanning, and labeling, as well as maintaining clean, organized aisles and work areas. The Reach Truck Operator will follow all safety procedures, inspect equipment before use, and communicate with warehouse supervisors and teammates to support efficient and reliable distribution operations.
- Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, or similar powered industrial equipment, with a strong focus on safe handling of pallets and products.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, order picking, staging, and inventory handling in dry, refrigerated, and frozen environments.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, labels, and instructions, and use scanning or basic warehouse management systems for tracking and documentation.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move products, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a warehouse team.
- Willingness to follow all safety policies, complete equipment inspections, and report any issues or hazards promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in food distribution or a similar warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work assigned full-time schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on operational needs.
