Construction Project Manager & Estimator

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager & Estimator in Pittsfield, MA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a construction professional experienced in residential and light commercial projects who can lead work from initial budgeting through final walkthrough. Based in Pittsfield, MA, this role combines detailed cost estimating with hands-on project oversight to ensure successful delivery of renovation and new build projects.

The Construction Project Manager & Estimator will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing budgets, and maintaining quality standards across multiple job sites in Pittsfield and the surrounding Berkshire County area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee residential and small commercial construction projects in Pittsfield, MA from preconstruction planning through project completion.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates, perform material takeoffs, and prepare client-ready proposals for renovations and ground-up builds.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, coordinate vendor schedules, and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Monitor job progress, track project budgets, and manage change orders to maintain financial control.
• Maintain construction schedules and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
• Conduct site visits to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal team members to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency in Pittsfield operations.
