Overview

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking an experienced Academic Rheumatologist Physician to join our organization.

• Join our growing Rheumatology division, consisting of 3 MDs and strong support staff.
• Practice collaboratively within the realm of Dept. of Medicine seeing a diverse patient population at Baystate Medical Center, the region’s only level 1 trauma center and major referral care center for Rheumatology.
• Enjoy your work/life balance as we offer a Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm schedule. Rotational call schedule as needed.
• Faculty appointment to UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate with time for clinical innovation, educational program development, teaching, and research. Ability to participate in conferences and lectures, teach our Internal Medicine and Med-Peds residents.
• Opportunity to lead and grow our developing Rheumatology Fellowship program for those with educational experience.

ABMS BE/BC in Rheumatology. Ideal candidates will have experience in educational program development and translational research.
