A busy Level III Trauma Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-supported Emergency Department with flexible shift options and strong clinical resources.
Emergency Department Details55,000 annual ED volume
32-bed Emergency Department
Level III Trauma Center
EMR:
Meditech8-, 11-, and 12-hour shifts available
Highest need for morning and night coverage
APP coverage in place
Admissions handled by hospitalist team
ED responsible for EMS radio communication
Deliveries sent directly to Labor & Delivery
30-minute on-call response requirement
$250 $ 300 per hour (based on experience and availability)
Hotel reimbursement provided
Expedited credentialing with temporary privileges available
Local providers only (no flights)
ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
Active Massachusetts license (strongly preferred at submission)
ATLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
Clean background for streamlined credentialing
NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
Availability required at time of submission
