The teacher is the district's primary agent for instruction with responsibility for presenting the prescribed curriculum effectively and employing a diagnostic/prescriptive approach to identification and subsequent adaptation to the needs and interests of the students.

• Maintain classroom management.
• Plan and deliver effective instruction.
• Promote high standards and expectations for student achievement.
• Communicate with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students.

• Bachelor's Degree required;
  Master's Degree preferred.
• MA DESE Certification Severe Disabilities All Levels.
• Experience teaching high school students who have disabilities.
• Strong lesson planning skills with a focus on student-centered instruction; excellent communication skills and strong classroom management skills; ability to use data to plan for, assess, and modify instruction.
• Days 1-29 $ 150.00/day.
• Days 30+ $200.00/day.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
