The Pittsfield Public School District is seeking applicants for a long-term substitute teaching position due to a leave of absence.

Days 1-29 $ 150.00/day

Day 30+ $200.00/day

• Bachelor's Degree required.
  Experience teaching elementary school level.
  Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  Experience working with young children in a diverse, urban educational setting, including students who have disabilities. Science of Reading training, experience with Reveal Math and Into Reading programs preferred.
  Ability to work in a collaborative teaching and learning environment and have a continuous learning mindset; excellent classroom management skills. Planning and assessing instruction and curriculum to ensure student success. Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
