Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities for this Position

Join General Dynamics Mission Systems as a Systems Engineer on the Regional Strike Programs program. This role is ideal for engineers interested in Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or Hardware-Systems Engineering. As a Systems Engineer on RSP, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas:

* Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing

* Requirements Engineering: documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements

* Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling, simulations, and design analysis

* Hardware-Systems Engineering: design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systems

Required Qualifications /Skills/

Experience:

* Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.

* 2+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering or Hardware Systems work (Master's degree plus 6 months of relevant experience).

* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

* Experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems.

* Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation.

* Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar).

* Experience with defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute systems engineering activities in Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems, depending on focus area.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance.

* Document, review, and manage system requirements using requirements management tools and MBSE.

* Participate in design reviews, verification, and validation activities.
