Test Engineer II

Position Overview

Test Engineer II – Trident Integrated Support Facility (ISF) – Onsite – USA – Pittsfield, MA.

• Perform testing, diagnostics, and fault analysis of complex electromechanical systems.
• Support installation, qualification, and maintenance of automated functional and environmental test systems.
• Develop clear and effective test procedures, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Train and guide production and test personnel on equipment and processes.
• Analyze test data and performance trends; support root‑cause and corrective‑action efforts.
• Provide technical support for hardware/software development and production test operations.
• Conduct investigations for out‑of‑tolerance events and support impact assessments.
• Present technical findings to leadership and customer representatives.
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.

• Bachelor’s in a STEM field (Engineering, Science, etc.) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience with complex electromechanical or guidance‑related systems.
• Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or DoD production environments.
• Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or other test equipment calibration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional engineering, production teams, and vendors.
