Position Overview
Test Engineer II – Trident Integrated Support Facility (ISF) – Onsite – USA – Pittsfield, MA.
Responsibilities- Perform testing, diagnostics, and fault analysis of complex electromechanical systems.
- Support installation, qualification, and maintenance of automated functional and environmental test systems.
- Develop clear and effective test procedures, technical documentation, and training materials.
- Train and guide production and test personnel on equipment and processes.
- Analyze test data and performance trends; support root‑cause and corrective‑action efforts.
- Provide technical support for hardware/software development and production test operations.
- Conduct investigations for out‑of‑tolerance events and support impact assessments.
- Present technical findings to leadership and customer representatives.
- Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.
- Bachelor’s in a STEM field (Engineering, Science, etc.) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance required.
- Experience with complex electromechanical or guidance‑related systems.
- Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or DoD production environments.
- Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or other test equipment calibration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional engineering, production teams, and vendors.
- Competitive salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 per year.
