The right candidate will bring strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to make sound underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite and process first mortgages and home equity products
  • Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
  • Analyze borrower income, credit, assets, and collateral risk
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, agency, and internal lending guidelines
  • Communicate with members and internal staff throughout the loan process

  • Support pricing and secondary market loan sales
  • Assist with HMDA reporting and quality control review processes
  • Maintain active NMLS registration as required

  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of HMDA reporting preferred
  • Experience with LOS systems (Calyx, MERS, or similar) a plus
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workflow independently
  • Competitive base salary ($57K–$75K, flexibility for highly qualified candidates)
  • Generous paid time off (vacation, sick, personal)
