Salary Range: $25.00 - $43.51
Location: MA, NY, CT, RI, VT
Purpose/ObjectiveProvides relationship management support to Small Business in monitoring and servicing an existing exceptions managed portfolio of loans. Continuously evaluates exceptions-based portfolio performance to maintain portfolio quality and risk rating accuracy. Interacts with customers as well as bank employees to address credit and deposit service-related matters in a satisfactory manner.
Key Accountabilities- Processes line renewals and maturing loans, annual reviews, modifications, extensions, releases, and assignments. 40%
- Collects required client and project financials and other information including, as appropriate, preparation of timely appraisal requests, completes environmental transaction assessments and monitoring any other items as necessary. 20%
- Assists with managing delinquency with the Special Assets Team. Monitoring overdrafts, score alerts, highline use of borrowers to carefully assign risk ratings. 15%
- Works with large portfolio of SBA loans to ensure following of SBA Policy and Procedure. Monthly review of proper line utilization. 15%
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested. Assists other Portfolio Managers with training, mentoring, and team building. 10%
- Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, economics or business administration preferred
- Continuing education in bank-related courses
- 1+ years practical, related work experience
- 1+ years’ experience in credit analysis or risk underwriting in the banking industry
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to execute
- Computer skills including web-based searches
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal skills
